Lucy Guillen, 81, of Grand Terrace, California, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025 with her children by her side. She was born on January 5, 1944 in San Bernardino, CA. to Paulo and Valentina Montoya. She was a graduate of San Bernardino High School and attended San Bernardino Valley College.

Lucy devoted her life to raising her two children, Paul and Melissa Guillen, while at times working two jobs. She began her career with the State of California in May 1979, later retiring in December 2005 as a Personnel Specialist at Patton State Hospital, San Bernardino, CA. where she developed many lifelong friendships during her career.

Lucy had many hobbies including gardening, shopping, and watching NFL football games. She especially enjoyed spending her Saturday’s going out for family breakfast, lovingly known as “The Breakfast Club”. It will never be the same clicking our drinks together without her.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Paulo and Valentina Montoya; brothers Angel Montoya and Tony Montoya. Lucy is survived by her sister Margie Barton; children Paul Guillen (April), daughter Melissa Guillen; granddaughter Amanda Rocha (Alex); many nieces and nephews along with extended family and friends.
