Ludwig (Lud) James Kading, passed into the lord’s arms 2-25-2011 in San Bernardino, CA, he was born 1-3-1916 in Long Beach, CA. Lud is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Eleanor, his 2 children Roland Snodgrass (Diane), and Linda DeMartini (Paul), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lud was preceded in death by his son James Kading, and his 3 sisters. Lud was an accomplished machinist, he was proud of owning a machine shop and all of the machines. Lud contributed to the war effort by supplying parts for small and large engines, throughout the years he was the owner of many businesses. For many years, Lud and his wife were very happy members of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Crestline. Visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Montecito Mortuary Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, California 92324 (909)825-3024. Visitation will be from 10 AM – 11 AM and the funeral service will be from 11 AM – 12 PM. Interment will follow at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, California.
