A memorial service will be held at Montecito Memorial Park & Mortuary, Cypress Chapel, located at 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, California, 92354. The service is scheduled for January 24, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Reception immediately following at 12:00 PM in the Cypress Reception Room.

Luis Martinez Vazquez, age 86, of San Bernardino, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Luis is survived by his wife of 58 years, Matilde Vazquez; his sons, Mike, Mark and Frank; his daughter Marie; his son-in-law, Jim; and his daughters-in-law, Isabelle, Beatrice, and Patricia. He also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Luis is further survived by extended family in Mexico, who hold him dearly in their hearts.

Luis was retired lumber and wood craftsman who took great pride in his work. In retirement, he developed a deep passion for caring for his many fruit trees, tending to them daily with dedication and joy. Always by his side was his beloved dog, Bello, who rarely left him. Luis found his greatest happiness spending time with his sons and grandchildren, attending their many events and enjoying family gatherings.

Above all else, Luis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His love for his family and the simple joys of life will never be forgotten.
