Maria Melendez

She graduated from Adamson University with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, and a Management.

For 28 wonderful years, she shared her life with her devoted husband, Rey Melendez, a proud US Army Combat Veteran. Together, they built a family grounded in faith, love and service.

She is the cherished mother of;

● Alec Zandre Melendez, US Army Sergeant, born in Fort Richardson, Alaska.

● Alez Sandra Melendez, Registered Nurse at Loma Linda, born in Fort Carson, Colorado.

● Alen Vinzent Melendez, Civil Engineering student at Cal Poly, born in Ansbach, Germany.

Maria Cristina dedicated her career to service through her work at Armed Force Bank, Provident Bank, and Citibank. Her compassion was equally shown in her ministry as a member of the Praise and Worship Team, volunteered at Kids and Women's Ministry, and an active member of the Women's Bible study group at Sunrise Church. She also openly welcomed hundreds of people to her home for bible studies and this is a testament to her joyful service and worship of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Her legacy of love continues through her precious grandson, Altheo Jefferson Melendez, who brought her endless joy and the proud title of Grandmother aka “Lola”.

She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings; Simeon Lapuz Jr, Norman Lapuz, and Maria Cecilia David, all residing in the Philippines.

Maria Cristina's life was a reflection of God's grace - a light of warmth, compassion, and faith, that touched everyone she met. Her love remains a guiding force, reminding us all to live with kindness and gratitude. She lived her faith with joy and left footprints of love wherever she went and she will remain In Our Hearts Forever.
