On December 7th Martha Olvera passed away peacefully
entering the gates of Heaven. She was surrounded by her
family and closest friends.
Martha lived a full and amazing life. Even in her tough
times she pushed through and that made her a stronger
woman. She lost her only sister in a tragic accident. Then
her mother to unexpected health complications. Her heart
is full of love now as she reunited with them and the Lord
Jesus Christ.

moved to Colton California where she was raised and made
all kinds of memories with family and friends. She was a
proud yellow jacket that graduated from Colton High.
She did battle Lymphoma Cancer and gave it the fight of
her life. She challenged the Cancer with all kinds of
treatments but never gave up. She beat the Cancer and this
gave her an appreciation for life. She then devoted all her
time to her family and friends. She did work at bank for at
least 20 years. She retired and became a full time
homemaker. Later she would volunteered at Loma Linda
Hospital.
She did met the Love of her Life Frank Olvera at an early
age and thought he was the cutest. They were married for
48 years and had two children Erlinda and Frank. Through
good and bad times she was full of life. She was one of a
kind. She had a special personality that spread like a wild
fire to her family and friends. Every person has a great
story to tell about Martha.
In her later years she moved to the Four Seasons in
Beaumont California. She LOVED her home. She was
amazed with all the things she could do in this little
community. Once again she touched more people with her
love for life. Her favorite activity was ceramics. She loved
to paint her little figures. She never wanted to miss a class.
Martha always loved to her music, especially her oldies.
Shopping was her passion. She would tell everyone if you
like something buy two if you can (Opra said). She looked
forward every year to go to her time share in New Port
with her family. Her cleaning had to be her way. She
claimed she loved having her clothes ironed and having a a
clean bathroom and kitchen. She loved watching the
Temptations movie, Remember the Titans, Tombstone, and
Mi family. Her TV stations were lifetime and ID. Lastly she
loved her ice tea with LOTS of ice.
