She was born January 19, 1929 in Burlington, IA to Sam and Frances Sturhan Willson at the family home. She was a graduate of Burlington High School. She married Perry Cochrane Jr. in 1948. They later divorced.
She is survived by 3 children, Daniel Cochrane of Idaho, Susan Brooks of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, James A. Cochrane of Yucaipa, California; two sisters, Betty Hightower of Burlington, Iowa and Lynda R. Murray of West Burlington, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, and one grandchild.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, February 26 from 4 to 8pm at Montecito Valley View Chapel with a graveside service held on Thursday, February 27 at 10am at Montecito Memorial Park both at 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton CA
