Mary Granny Rachel Sightler Lucas

Mary Rachel Lucas peacefully left this world March 7, 2010 and walked right into the arms of her Jesus. She was born Oct. 9, 1925 in North, South Carolina. Parents, Hughy and Susan Carton Sightler have predeceased her. She married Harvey Lucas Dec 24,1941. She was widowed Jan. 4, 1995. Mary is survived by her children, Barbara Ann Breden (Robert) of Rialto, Joyce. G. Hrustyk (Robert) of Henderson, Nev., Donald R. Lucas (Catherine) of Apple Valley, Reva D. Lyon (Dirk) of Laguna Beach and Lois R. DeRocilli (Anthony) of Wilmington, De. Mary is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. One grandson,. Pastor Robert W. Breden, Jr. predeceased her in July 2008. Mary worked in Orange County at ITT Cannon Electric for 25 years. She was a member of Rialto First Assembly in Rialto, where she was lovingly known to all as “Granny”. Viewing will be April 1, 2010 at Montecito Memorial Park from 4-8 P.M. Longtime family friend, Pastor Allen Pruett, will officiate Memorial service at 10 A.M. April 2, which is Good Friday. Graveside will follow at Desert View Memorial Park in Victorville.
