Mary Ellen Nieman

Mary Ellen Nieman, aka Noni, 93, of Chino Hills passed away peacefully in her home on December 5, 2025. Mary Ellen was born on October 29, 1932 in Great Bend, Kansas. She leaves behind her 8 children and their spouses.

Paul Joseph Niemen, Micheal William Nieman, Sharon Kathleen Hall, Robert Thomas Niemen, Christina Marie Mallard, Karen Michelle Dimmit, Jeffery Patrick Niemen, Felicia June Niemen, as well as 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, with another one on the way. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Mary Ellen was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved cooking and baking, her homemade birthday cakes, we can still taste today. Summers pool side with her family, was her joy. She enjoyed fishing trips to Canada with her husband Tom, cruises and road tips to Kansas to see her sisters. Our Christmas pajama parties were a favorite of hers. She loved wine trips, casino trips and long lunches at Roscoe’s. She was a huge sports fan, she especially loved Notre Dame and the LA Dodgers. She is now joined in heaven with her loving husband of 53 years, whom she loved more than words could express. She will be so missed by all.
