December 22, 1941 – June 9, 2026
Mary Alice Parker (née Aiken) passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the age of 84.
Born on December 22, 1941, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, to Arthur Leroy Aiken and Gertrude Lucille Aiken (née First), Mary Alice came to Southern California as a child and graduated from Colton Union High School in 1959. The following year, she married Charles Harmon Parker, and together they shared a loving partnership for over 38 years.
Starting with little, Charles and Mary Alice raised a family, grew a successful business, and made their home a place of hospitality and blessing to all who knew them. When Charles passed suddenly in 1998, she felt the loss profoundly, but the years that followed revealed her strength of character. She embraced new relationships while staying faithful to her old friends, and brought her life experience and taste to a part-time role at Mozart's Fine Gift Boutique in Redlands, where she became a beloved presence.
Across her 84 years, Mary Alice was a dutiful daughter, a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother, a cherished sister and aunt, a trusted colleague, and a woman of enduring faith. She gave herself fully to each of these roles and was the kind of person whose company people sought and whose absence will be felt.
She is survived by her two children, Pamela (Kenneth) Keyes and Mark (Janet) Parker; three grandchildren, Kandice Keyes, Grant (Amanda) Parker, and Zoe Parker; and two brothers, Michael Aiken and Patrick Aiken.
