Matthew Joseph Theobald was born on April 24, 1929 in Illinois to Mathias and Lillian Theobald. He was a manager for Mayfair Market for 30 years retiring in 1977. He volunteered at the San Bernardino Chapter of the American Red Cross for 24 years.
He is survived by his lifetime partner of 43 years, Robert E. Wussler.
Graveside Services were held on July 20, 2010 - 11:00 A.M. at Montecito Memorial Park.
