Mia Julianne Nicole Serrato, 18 years old of Rialto, California, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She was born on November 30, 1996 in Hemet, California. She is survived by her parents, Phillip and Ana Serrato, siblings, Phillip Ruben Serrato, Nikki Serrato, Ryan Patrick Serrato, Christian Phillip Serrato, Roxanna Cooper and Megan Cooper. Also, her grandmother, Amparo Venegas, aunts, Yolanda Lomelin, Lilia Bravo, Angel Tustin, Patricia Van Bergen, Joann Serrato, Mary Lou Alarcon, Rafa Serrato and Irene Hooper, uncles, Jesse Venegas, Joe Lomelin Ralph Van Bergen, Ruben Serrato, Mark Alarcon and Paul Serrato.
Mia graduated from Rialto High School and was attending San Bernardino Valley College with dreams of becoming a Pediatric Nurse.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015, 4-8 p.m., at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, California. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, 11 a.m., at All Souls Mausoleum, followed by burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 3510 E. Washington St., Colton, California.
Mia will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
