Premila “Molly” Mesipam, born on November 16, 1956, in Pune, India, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, surrounded by her immediate family and close friends. Her departure leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, but also a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion.
Molly’s early life took her across many parts of India. She moved to Nuzvid in 1963, then to Pondicherry in 1968, and later lived in Shimla and Jalandhar. She spent her school years in boarding school at Lowry Memorial Higher Secondary School, returning home each summer to be with her parents. From a young age, she carried a gentle spirit and a strong drive to care for others—qualities that guided her throughout her life.
Following that calling, Molly attended Giffard Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, completing three years of nursing and one year of midwifery. She graduated in 1980 and courageously immigrated to the United States the following year, settling in Loma Linda, California. She continued her education and completed her bachelor’s degree in Nursing, further deepening her lifelong commitment to healing and service.
Molly was the second child of Thomas Isaac and Ruth Isaac, and a beloved sister to Moni Isaac and George Isaac. In December 1985, she welcomed her son, Avinash Mesipam, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Their relationship remained the center of her world—one built on love, trust, and deep mutual respect.
Her joy multiplied when Avinash married Kirsten in 2020 and again when her grandson, Henry James Mesipam, was born in 2022. Henry quickly became the pride and light of her life. In recent years, despite facing several medical challenges, Molly persevered with remarkable strength and grace. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandson, nurturing him with the same warmth and tenderness she gave to everyone around her.
Molly will be remembered for her generosity, her gentle presence, and her instinctive desire to help anyone in need. Whether through her nursing career, her friendships, or her family life, she touched countless people with quiet compassion and a loving heart.
