

He was one of ten children born to Leopoldo R. Sanchez and Victoria G. Sanchez, who preceded him in death.
Neftali was a Korean War veteran who was wounded in battle, loosing his eyesight and hands. In spite of this, he studied and graduated from Pepperdine University and Western Apostolic Bible college. He later became a Pastor in Suisun City, California. He was a member of Highest Praise Apostolic Church. In Redlands, CA
He leaves behind three sisters, Irene Sanchez, Nohemi Marquez, and Ruth Gonzalez (husband Esteban) and two brothers, Leopold Sanchez (wife Annie) and Eleazar Sanchez (wife Esther). He leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, great- nephews' great nieces' and cousins. Also, many brothers and sisters in Christ who loved him dearly.
Neftali leaves us with a beautiful legacy of love for God, family, and the country he fought to defend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service for Neftali will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Summit Church, 5401 Citrus Ave, Fontana, CA 92336. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.
