Our beloved sister and aunt, affectionately known as Hurta passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Born and raised in San Bernardino, California, Hurta brought joy and light wherever she went. She was one of many siblings, dearly loved by her brothers and sisters — Frank, Richard, Raymond, Stella, Linda, Reuben, and Jesse. She was a cherished sister and a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply.

Hurta lived with her brother Frank and Darlene for the past 17 years, where she was cared for and loved like a treasure. Their home together was filled with laughter, crafts, and music — two of Hurta’s favorite things in the world. She loved to dance, and her joyful spirit often lit up any room. She also enjoyed making bracelets and necklaces for her family, handmade gifts that will be forever cherished as tokens of her generous and loving heart.

Weda’s kindness, creativity, and playful sense of humor touched everyone she met. She will be truly missed, but her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
