Nohemi Marquez

Obituary Nohemi Sanchez Marquez was born in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico on March 4, 1938. She was one of 10 Children born to Leopoldo R. Sanchez and Victoria 6. Sancher. she was raised in Juarez until the age of ll, when the family moved to hos Angeles, California, she attended Belmont High School and tained to work on IBM machines. At the age of 19 she accepted the gospel of Jesus and became an active young lady in the yooth group of the church. She was a Leader and singer in the choir, and a teacher. In 1968 she met and marsied Tose Marquez at El Siloe Apostolic Church. They continued working and in volved in the church. In 1995 then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was active as Church treasurer, teaching Sunday school and Caregiving her brother Neftali.

Jose her husband passed Away in 2007 in Las Vegas. Nohemi and Neftali Moved back to California in 2012. She attended Riverside Apostolic Church and Highest Praise Apostolic church Where she volunteered in the work as much as she could. she passed away December 29, 2023. She was a gentle, soft-spoken, Loving person and a role model of a true worshipper of God, who will be missed. She Leaves behind two sisters, Irene Sanchez and Ruth (Esteban) Gonzalez; and two brothers, Leopold (Annie) sanchez and ELeazar (Esther) Sancker, and numerous nieces, nephews, Cousins and friends.
