Nora Manuel was born on December 2, 1974, in El Paso, Texas, to Fernando and Francisca Tirre. She later moved with her family to Rialto, California, where she was raised alongside her siblings, Angel, Jackie, and Rubensito.
Nora graduated from Aquinas High School, where she excelled both academically and athletically. After high school, while working at UPS, Nora met and married Ray Manuel. Together they raised two sons, Vince and Nicholas Manuel.
Driven by determination and a passion for education, Nora continued her studies while balancing work, marriage, and motherhood. She pursued her teaching degree and credentials and built a rewarding career inspiring and educating countless students.
Teaching was more than a profession for Nora—it was her calling. She believed deeply in the potential of every student and worked tirelessly to help each one succeed.
Beyond her work, Nora’s greatest joy was her family and friends. She was often the one who brought family together, creating opportunities to celebrate, connect, and make memories that will be treasured forever.
Nora is survived by her beloved sons, Vince and Nicholas Manuel; her daughter-in-law, Breanna; her soon-to-be-born granddaughter, Brielle; her mother, Francisca; her stepfather, Ruben; her siblings, Angel, Jackie, and Rubensito; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her love, kindness, and friendship.
