Norma Veronica Brown is loved by so many. Loved for her beautiful smile. Loved for her bright wit and intelligence. And most of all loved for her generosity and warmth that she so readily exhibited to anyone that ever met her. She loved her 4 children and 5 grandchildren (as well as the 6th on the way) more than any mother or grandmother could. It is what she lived for. She gave her heart and soul into her every endeavor; teaching, learning. She achieved so much in the last 13 years of her life by earning not only a bachelors degree but a masters degree. She loved learning and taught her students to love it too. She enjoyed speaking Spanish to her students and would occasionally get the opportunity to converse in French. She meant so much to so many; a beloved mother, a beloved grandmother, a beloved daughter, a beloved sister, a beloved cousin, a beloved niece, a beloved Tia.
Norma enjoyed traveling to visit her son and his family out of state or traveling anywhere life would take her. She loved the beach and she loved the mountains. She loved music, movies, reading and researching. She also loved mystical things as much as scientific things. Anyone that knew her would hear about the latest in holistic eating and supplements or about vampires, mermaids and dragons. She also loved the church and dedicated so much of her life teaching religious education. She loved the Virgin Mary and spent the last few months of her life praying the rosary each and every day. She was a fighter until the end by defying all the timelines passed down to her by doctors. We all loved Norma for all these things and more. She is now at peace; holding her grandson in her arms, waiting for the day to be reunited with those she loved. We love you Norma with all our hearts and we always will. You have changed our lives for the better because we knew you. Rest In Peace.
