OBE FANGBEMI
October 23rd, 1987 – January 22nd, 2026
Obe Fangbemi was born in Lomé, Togo, on October 23rd, 1987. From an early age, she carried herself with quiet depth, dignity, and intention — qualities that left a lasting impression on all who encountered her. She departed this life on January 22nd, 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined not by volume, but by meaning.
Her early years were shaped by strong family values that instilled in her a profound sense of responsibility, discipline, and devotion. These principles guided her throughout her life and were evident in every role she embraced.
Obe began her formal education at Le Flamboyant and later attended Collège Protestant Lomé Agbalépédogan (CPLA), graduating in 2004. She went on to serve in the military in Togo, where she developed resilience, structure, and an enduring sense of duty. At the age of eighteen she courageously relocated to the United States, determined to pursue excellence and purpose.
Her calling in healthcare reflected both her strength and compassion. She advanced steadily through the nursing profession, becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant, then a Licensed Vocational Nurse, and ultimately a Registered Nurse. Obe earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University, graduating in December 2023. At the time of her passing, she was actively pursuing her Doctorate, embodying a lifelong commitment to growth and leadership. She also earned a Certificate in Decoration, reflecting her refined taste and appreciation for beauty.
Professionally, Obe served for nearly eight years at Las Encinas Hospital, where she rose into a nurse leadership role. Known for her composure, discernment, and integrity, she was deeply respected by colleagues and patients alike. Her presence brought confidence, order, and reassurance to every environment she served.
At her core, Obe was profoundly family-oriented. She believed in togetherness as a responsibility and lived with fearless generosity toward others. Intelligent, decisive, and quietly authoritative, she led by example and uplifted those around her.
Guided by faith and principle, Obe lived with reverence — for God, for family, and for the responsibilities entrusted to her. Though her earthly journey ended sooner than expected, her legacy endures in the lives she touched, the standards she upheld, and the love she gave.
She will be remembered with reverence, spoken of with respect, and loved beyond measure - now and always.
