Michael,
 I enjoyed your mother, when we were around she always treated me like I was one of the family I appreciate that. Until we meet again, mom. 

Aunty,
Thank you for all you have done for all of us, you were a true treasure.
Since I was a boy, I remember you being a second Mom to me, You always kept us fed with your delicious cooking, second to none, your food was simply the best.  You also were a great referee, keeping Mike and me from fighting too much or when we would argue over what Saturday morning cartoons to watch.  You raised us both to  have values, respect and what it takes to raise our families, you were a wonderful example.  I am glad that you are with my Uncle George now, looking 
down and watching over us all, I know how 
much you both loved each other.  My only regret is not being able to see you as much as I would have liked the last few years.  Even still, whenever I did see you or talk to you, I could always sense the love in your voice and the care in your heart.  I will miss you but know you will always be in my thoughts and I am grateful to have had you in my life.
I love you Aunty, may you rest in God’s love and peace.

To my dear sweet sister in law, Odette. Always know you were so kind and loving to everyone in the family.❤️ You taught me how to make baklava and many Syrian goodies. When I came here to California from michigan you were very welcoming to me and our family. I remember great times with you. We always laughed a lot. I remember the time in Vegas we had too much to drink and your dress was up in the back with toilet paper trailing from your shoe. We laughed so hard you wet your pants a little. Odette you have always meant so much to our family and for that I want to say how much you were loved and appreciated. I know your in a better place with god and George, your loving husband❤️ much love from Tracy and Joe, Michael, Nicholas and Sara, your god daughter🙏❤️

auntie, i love you so much and will miss you dearly. i will always cherish the memories i had with you growing up, i’ll even hold onto the small moments like playing cards together or when you would sing, “it’s raining , it’s pouring” to me. You’ve always had such a big heart & I’m so grateful to have called you my godmother. Heaven gained a beautiful angel, & i know you are much happier and healthier now. i’ll forever miss your big tight hugs. 🤍🕊 

I want mto take this moment to express my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of my close and beautiful cousin, Odette. Both my wife , Louise and I are heartbroken over her passing. Odette is one of the closest cousin I know. I will always treasure the beautiful and fond memories that we shared together, both here in the states and in Damascus.  Odette was a great sister, mother, grandmother, and loving wife. Odette had a heart of gold that she shared with both her family and friends.  Above all, Odette had strong faith in God, and a special love for our Blessed Mother. I know she is at peace and sharing Gods love in Heaven.  We will never forget our beautiful cousin, Odette. She will be in our hearts and in our prayers always.. I love you always Odette. Your cousin, Robert Leo Zainea

Auntie Odette was a cornerstone for so many family members.  To some she was a matriarch, to others a mother figure but above all,  a woman who had great strength and faith in God. She gave us all her love unconditionally and always put others needs first before herself until she no longer could.  Fond memories of all the families gathered throughout the years enjoying the amazing food she had prepared are just some of things we will remember.   Auntie Odettes passing will always be bitter sweet to me, I feel she is watching over all of us now. As sorrowful as this moment is I pray many of us will find peace knowing she is reunited in Heaven with George and is surrounded by the glory of the Lord. 

Irreplaceable Aunty Odette, you leave us all heartbroken and not ready to let you go. How is it possible to even begin to summarize how much you meant to your family that loves you so so much…Your love, wisdom and guidance was truly a gift. You loved everyone without hesitation or condition. What a gift you blessed us with by just being our aunt … I’ll miss you everyday but I love knowing that you’re now  a guardian angel watching over all of us…. I’ll miss your genuine hugs and your delicious food that can never be replicated…. You took a piece of my heart ❤️ with you to heaven… I’ll get it back when I’m joined with you again….
