Orlando Martinez Solano Sr

Orlando Martinez Solano Sr. passed away at age 69 in Redlands after a long battle with diabetes on Friday, October 6, 2023. He was born in Honduras to parents Amado and Teresa Martinez. He voyaged to the United States in 1970. As a young man, he enjoyed driving powerful cars, singing, and dancing. In 1973, he met, fell in love, married the mother of his children, and raised a family. He worked for 42 years as a mechanical engineer for Angelica and several high-rise buildings in downtown Los Angeles. Orlando enjoyed music throughout his life and was an avid Los Angeles Rams fan.

Survivors include his daughter Kethura Solano and son Orlando Solano Jr., several brothers and sisters, two granddaughters, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Memorial Service and Reception will be held on Friday, November 10 from 1-5 p.m. at the Montecito Cypress Chapel in Loma Linda, CA.
