Patricia Elizabeth Longo, age 88, passed away on January 15, 2019 in Loma Linda California. She was the second child born to Walter and Catherine Hanlon on March 15, 1930 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Patricia was the middle of three sisters, Agnes and Theresa, whom their father Walter fondly nicknamed the “Gabor Sisters”. She grew up in Brooklyn and attended Catholic schools in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn and later graduated from Bay Ridge High School.
Patricia married Patrick Joseph Longo on February 16 1952. They met at a dance in Long Island City, Queens N.Y. and enjoyed 62 years of marriage and a legacy of many loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her oldest sister Agnes Hanlon, and by her loving and devoted husband Patrick, who passed away November 11, 2014. She is survived by her beloved sister Theresa Cozzalino (Robert), 6 children, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She will be lovingly remembered by her six devoted children: Diane Smith ( Steve), Nancy Longo, Robert Longo (Tippi), Dawn Longo, Julie Doran (Alec), and Patrick Longo (Jill). She was a loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren: Lisa Mena (Timothy), Isaac Longo, Justin Longo (Chase), Katie Weaver (Chad), Leonard Doran, Blake Doran, Brandon Doran, Michael Longo, Abby Longo and Cooper Longo, and a cherished great grandmother to 6 great grandchildren: Carlton Mena, Caleb Mena, Grant Weaver, Grace Weaver, Landon Longo and Chandler Longo. She will also be lovingly remembered as “Aunt Pat” or “Aunt Patty” by several nieces and nephews, and as Patricia or “Patty” by the many friends she made through the years.
Memorial Services will be held at Montecito Memorial Park, Colton, California on February 1, 2019. A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service following at 11:00 a.m.
