Peggy, daughter of Juanita and Edward Ernest Bullock, and her 8 brothers and sisters grew up on a farm in Evansville, Indiana. Peggy’s father passed away when she was young. Her mother remarried and had 5 more children. While growing up, Peggy was active in the Apostolic church and enjoyed singing in the choir. In 1958, Peggy moved to California, where she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper.
Peggy is survived by her 3 children: Richard Solomon and his wife Traci of Las Vegas, NV, Chester Hecht and his wife Andrea, of Palm Desert, CA, and Peggy Lovvo and her husband Donnie of Oologah, Ok.; Her 10 grandchildren: Crispin, Chloe, and Zachary Solomon; Charlotte and Benjamin Hecht; and Mimi Keil, Shaylynn Maier and her husband Caleb, Rachelle, Kiana and Brooke Burnham; and her 2 great grandchildren Evelynn and Oliver Maier.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Ilee Clardy who passed away in 2015.
Ilee had 6 children: Dina Metcalfe and her husband Joe of Tucson, AZ; Denise Epperson and husband Greg of San Jacinto, CA; Darrell Clardy and wife Ester of Corona, CA; Darla Charbonnet and husband Joel of Corona, CA; Darvin Clardy and wife Jan of Apple Valley, CA; and Tammy Kemp and husband Lonnie of Dallas, TX; Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Shortly after Ilee’s passing, Peggy moved to Palm Desert, CA where she lived the rest of her life. Peggy was loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Services will be held at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA on Thursday, July 8th, 2021.
