

He attended Garfield Elementary School, Woodrow Wilson Jr. High and Colton High School. Pete was drafted into the United States Army during his Junior year in high school and served in World War II in the European Theater. He traveled through Normandy, up to the northern France, and finally ending up in Belgium at the war's end. Pete initially served in the United States Army. He was then transferred to the United States Army Air Core's and eventually was Honorably Discharged after becoming one of the first Airmen of the newly created United States Air Force.
Upon returning to the “States” he married Rosario Rios and attended college at Woodbury Business College in Los Angeles Ca. During this time, they began their family welcoming Michael. Bobby, and Marianne. Pete earned his Business Degree and ultimately worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles, where he retired after 30+ years of Public Service.
Pete was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #6476. Over a period of 40+ years, he served various positions, including Post Commander.
Pete will be deeply missed by Family, including his Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great, Great Grandchildren.
May his Soul Rest in Peace with Our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom he OFTEN PRAYED in his final years and months.
