Reina Elizabeth Fuentes

Reina Elizabeth Fuentes nació en El Salvador el 6 de enero de 1952. Vivió una vida humilde pero llena de fortaleza, dedicada por completo a sus tres hijos: Roxana, Oscar y Lissette. Desde muy joven desarrolló extraordinarias habilidades como costurera, usando sus manos y su determinación para poner pan en la mesa. Fue madre, padre, proveedora y un ejemplo a seguir.

En 1985, a la edad de 33 años, Reina emigró a los Estados Unidos junto a su hija menor. Este viaje implicó un sacrificio inimaginable, ya que tuvo que dejar atrás a sus otros dos hijos con el corazón roto. A pesar de la distancia y las dificultades, nunca dejó de luchar por reunificar a su familia. Con trabajo incansable y perseverancia, logró reunirlos nuevamente, brindándoles la oportunidad de una vida mejor y con mayores oportunidades.

Reina fue una trabajadora incansable, y la unión de su familia siempre fue su mayor prioridad. Incluso en los momentos más difíciles, encontró la manera de mantener a su familia a flote.

Junto a sus hijos, forjó un camino que permitió a cada uno de ellos crecer y formar sus propias familias.

Ella fue el tronco del árbol familiar, la fuerza firme que mantuvo a todos unidos. Erguida ante cualquier tormenta, nunca dejó a nadie atrás.

Le sobreviven sus tres hijos, siete nietos, tres bisnietos y todas aquellas personas cuyas vidas tocó a lo largo del camino. Reina será profundamente extrañada y deja muchos corazones rotos. Al mismo tiempo, deja sembradas fuertes semillas en sus nietos: semillas de amor, resiliencia y fortaleza, que crecerán hasta convertirse en árboles fuertes capaces de resistir cualquier tormenta, tal como ella lo hizo.

Reina Elizabeth Fuentes was born in El Salvador on January 6, 1952. She lived a humble yet resilient life, fully devoted to her three children: Roxana, Oscar, and Lissette. From a very young age, she developed extraordinary skills as a seamstress, using her hands and determination to put bread on the table. She was not only a mother, but also a father, a provider, and a role model, everything her children needed her to be.

In 1985, at the age of 33, Reina migrated to the United States with her youngest daughter. This journey required an unimaginable sacrifice, as she had to leave behind her other two children

with a broken heart. Despite the distance and the hardships, she never stopped fighting to reunite her family. Through tireless work and perseverance, she was able to bring them together again, giving them the opportunity for a better life and greater possibilities.

Reina was a tireless worker, and the unity of her family was always her highest priority. Even in the most difficult moments, she found a way to keep her family afloat. Together with her children, she forged a path that allowed each of them to grow and form families of their own.

She was the trunk of the family tree, the steady force that held everyone together. Standing tall through every storm, she never left anyone behind.

Reina is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched along the way. She will be deeply missed and leaves many broken hearts behind. At the same time, she leaves strong seeds planted in her

grandchildren—seeds of love, resilience, and strength—that will grow into mighty trees capable of withstanding any storm, just as she did.
