

He was the first child of Rosa Meza Carlieri and Raul Orna Gonzales, he had 7 siblings: Isabel, Ruben, Cora, Raul, Teresa, Elmer and Eloisa. He attended the Seventh Day Adventist School in Miraflores, Peru.
Rodolfo married Bertha Takano Moron on June 29th, 1944 at 7:00 am at the Cristo Rey Catholic Church, in the city of Huanuco, Peru. Bertita passed away on January 19th, 1997.
Rodolfo worked for the Cerro de Pasco Copper Corporation as an electrician and later in the National Bank of Peru as a Bank Manager for 36 years. His fondest memories are those of when he lived in the ranch of his beloved grandmother Anselma Carlieri Omboni and his beloved dog Almirante. Later when married he enjoyed his family and professional life in Tingo Maria. He belonged to the Rotary Club and The Masonic Order. He was involved in community work with his wife Bertha.
His favorite sport was soccer. He enjoyed playing the Mandolin. His interests were reading, long walks and traveling.
He is survived by his children, Luis, Meche, Rosi, Rodolfo Jr. and Paty and sons-in- law Graham Simcox and Daniel Applegate ; grandchildren: Mark, Anthony, Blumi, Maria Pia, Carola, Sophia and Joseph; great grandchildren: Charlotte, William, Jacob and Elias.
He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 20th, 2015 in San Bernardino, California.
The Memorial Service will take place at Montecito Memorial Park, in the city of San Bernardino on Sunday August 2nd, 2015.
Three words that sum up his life are: Courage, Kindness and Honesty.
