Ronald W. Zech

Ron attended St. Joseph Catholic School from 1st through 6th grade, then attended Fort Atkinson Public Schools grade 7th through 12th.

He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1972.

Ron had worked at Cochran Construction erecting silos through out Wisconsin and the upper Peninsula of Michigan.

It turned out erecting silos in the middle of Wisconsin winters when it was below zero and he was 50 - 80 feet in the air was not something he wanted to make a career of.

In 1977 Ron decided to move to California to seek warmer job opportunities.

Through the years in California Ron has worked for NBSF Railroad, bartending at the Yacht Club and various landscaping jobs.

Most recently he was employed as a manager for Klausner Furniture and a manager at Flexsteel.

In 1986 Ron met Bobbi Vincent in Redlands, they spent 22 years together raising son Brandon.

Ron was a long time and valued member of the moose Club in Mentone, CA.

Ron is survived by a son, Brandon Vincent, three sisters; Marie (Gene) Harris, Debra (Rick) Stauffer and Nancy (Greg) Carroll, all in Wisconsin, and five brothers; Edward, Lavern, Ken, Scott and Jeff all in Wisconsin, three aunts; Geri Booth, Mary Purtell and Sister Clarinda Zech OSF all of Wisconsin. Innumerable friends in Wisconsin and California.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold W. and Myrtle M. Zech and one brother Lee Zech.
