On the morning of April 5, 2013 our daddy Rudy Gradias Estrada has gone to sleep and is now resting peacefully. Rudy was born Jan 4, 1931 to the proud parents of Jessie and Nellie Estrada. He had 7 brothers Ralph, Robert, Raymond, Jessie, Richard, Ruben, Roland, and 6 sisters Emily, Esther, Nellie Jr., Stella, Tina, and Linda. He married Carmen Rivera in April 25,1952 and they had two boys and two girls. Rudy was a resident of San Bernardino for 82 years. Rudy worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a Carmen Repair. He loved the railroad and enjoyed watching the trains ride by his house. He retired from the Santa Fe Railroad after 30+ years. Rudy also enjoyed science, history and reading. He traveled some with his wife Carmen to Mexico, Canada, and within the U.S. Rudy was a simple man who would make his own equipment to handle household chores. Music was another interest he would enjoy dancing and listening to in his backyard under the tree drinking a cold beer in the summer season. He spent his time with his grandchildren picking green olives from the trees in his large red Chevy truck that he would later make just in time for Christmas tamales. Loved and missed by many he has now joined his wife Carmen R. Estrada and son Roy Estrada to be with our Lord. He is survived by his children Cathy and Henry Calderon, Danny and Patricia Estrada, and Linda M. Estrada. Grandchildren Roy and Reno Estrada, Eileen Olive, Amanda Shaw, Frank Herrera Jr., Jaclyn Friters, Jack Herrera, Angela, Antoinette, and Crystal Estrada, Danielle Camarena, Patrick R.
