Attended Mahaicony Methodist School, Bobb’s Secondary School, London School of Economics (B.Sc., Part 1, Econ), San Bernardino Valley College (A.A., Accounting), Cal State San Bernardino (B.S. Accounting).
Taught in the Corentyne, 5th Standard at the Mahaicony Methodist School, where he met his future wife. He married in December 1957, before emigrating to Trinidad, then England, in 1959, where he lived and worked until 1966.
When he returned to the newly independent Guyana, he worked as Community Development Officer, before being promoted to Chief Community Development Officer, and subsequently Permanent Secretary, all in the Ministry of Housing, where he served with distinction for many years.
He resigned in 1983 and emigrated to the United States, settling in the Loma Linda area with his wife. He then attended San Bernardino Valley College and Cal State San Bernardino. After graduating, he worked for many years as an Accountant for the San Bernardino Unified School District before retiring in 2004.
He was a founding member of the Carmel Seventh Day Adventist Church in Georgetown, Guyana, where he served as an Elder from the inception. Latterly he maintained his membership at the Campus Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church in Loma Linda.
He loved his family, cricket, checkers, reading, talking about politics, the USA, and, above all, his native Guyana.
He fought the good fight, he finished the course, and he kept the faith!
