A visitation for Samuel will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A committal service will occur Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 3510 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324.

He is survived by his wife Luz Maria Vargas, his children Sam N Vargas, Carolina Mancilla, Israel Vargas, Samuel (titi) Vargas, his son in law Rafael Mancilla, daughter in laws Jessica and Yvonne Vargas, grandkids & great grandbabies.

He liked to stay busy and enjoyed being outdoors working on a project or tending to his chickens. He was a kind and generous person that liked helping people in need. His smile was as big as heart and loved by many. He will be truly missed. Forever in our hearts and memories.
