was born in Liliw, Laguna, Philippines on March 11, 1922. Her father was Jose Buenaseda Arnisto (deceased) and her mother was Estebana Monfero Collaga (deceased). She had a sister Enriquetta who died as a child. Early in those days she had to walk far to go to school and earned her living by helping relatives and other people especially those who lived alone. Her father remarried Zosima Romana and had 10 children. She shared and enjoyed life with them but most especially with her dad who had to travel quite a lot because of his work as a tailor in Lusiana, Laguna and Manila.
Then she married our dad, Dionisio de la Pena Nobleza; always a homemaker she reared and guided us 7 children: Rev. Fr. Dennis A. Nobleza, active retired supply priest, Cecilia A. Nobleza – Ceferino T. Urma (deceased), Rosalinda A. Nobleza – Ruperto C. Ranas, Evangeline A. Nobleza – Francisco P. Arjona, Eugene A. Nobleza – Evelyn D. Abanilla, Grace A. Nobleza – Pedrito E. Casidsid and Felita A. Nobleza. She came to the US with Felita on April 5, 1985. She goes or walks to attend mass everyday either near by Our Lady of Assumption, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cathedral, Our Lady of the Guadalupe, St. Adelaide, St. Anthony San Bernardino, St. Joseph Upland, St. Bernardine Hospital Chapel, etc. or where her priest son goes to celebrate the mass. She enjoyed fair good health participating in the activities and physical exercises at Perris Hill Senior Center till she gradually developed Alzheimer for the last 7 years of her life. We children took turns in caring for her at home. We are forever grateful to the staff and faithful visits and advice of the Hospice Personnel. She passed away on December 29, 2017. 95 years, 9 months, and 18 days.
She is survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
We love her, we will miss her, and we will be forever grateful for all that she did for our family. We commend her to the loving mercy and fulfillment of the promises of Jesus. Please pray for us.
