My Aunt Stella will forever be in my heart! I have so many great memories of her. She used to call me by my middle name "Vanessa". She would say "Vanessa, who's your favorite aunt?" (as soon as she would say that, I knew she bought me a surprise), I would say "you" and then she would always make me give her a big kiss before she gave me my surprise. (she knew I hated the mushiness). Im going to miss her but I know she's looking down on us with my Tita, waiting till the day we meet again. I miss you so much. I love you Stella.

My Aunt Stella is the greatest aunt in the world. I will always have you in my heart tia and you will never be forgotten. I will never forget everything she taught me. I remember her taking me to my first "baile", her taking me to get my nails done for my first time. LOL She loved her bears too any type of bear. I remember getting her a pooh bear when Stephanie wass born and later when my first daughter was born she game oone too. She was there when my daughter Tatyana was born. She was there for all the big events in my life. She was more of a best friend to me than an aunt I told her everything lol. I will never forget you Tia you will forever live in my heart. I know you're in a better place and whats even better is you're with my Tita. I'm going to miss you so much. Until we meet again, I love you Tia Stella.

I remember my SISTER-IN-LAW Stella as a very caring & loving person, but specially when I used to BBQ CARNE ASADA and her favorite TRIPAS, She used to licked the lemons so I couldn't eat them, but it was fun having her and family over. WE'LL LOVE YOU X EVER SIS.

I wanted to say something at the funeral but could not do it. Instead I'll write now what I would have said. Stella and I started working at Casa Colina about the same time (she has me beat by 3 months). She was always so good to me--I will miss her very much. I always gave her a container of diabetic chocolates at Christmas. That became our tradition. She new I liked Mickey Mouse and last December for my birthday she gave me a MM blanket, and a MM that spoke when you pressed the button. I keep it on my dresser. Stella always thought of others. She decorated the nursing station for Valentines, St.Patricks, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. She planned potlucks and made little gifts for us. Casa Colina will not be the same and God I'm going to miss her smile and her laughter.

I know we will meet again in heaven so save a place for me.

It has been wonderful to see how much my twister (twisted sister, as I lovingly called her) is loved. She always went above and beyond to show her love and it is nice to see that reciprocated.
