Benjamin Edward Jones passed away on August 14, 2012 In Loma Linda, California. He was born ion Wabbeseka, Arkansas on November 12, 1935 to Nathaniel and Earsula Jones. He was a minister for 64 years, most recently as President of the Zion Elect Church of God and Christ in San Bernardino, California.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Elder Paul E. (LaTricia) Jones, daughters, Jacqueline Renee Brumfield, Patricia L. Scott, Devona L. Jones, Crystal (Darryn) Cross, and Heather Mae Earsula Jones; Step-sons, Herbert Jackson, General Jackson; Step-daughter, Denice Jackson; special brother, Bishop Roy (Starrie) Dixon; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, twelve (step) grandchildrem and fifteen (step) great-grandchildren, a host of auntsm nieces, nephews, cousins, family and extended family, and god children.
Services will be on Saturday August 25, 2012 - 2:00 PM, at Montecito Valley View Chapel. Interment will be private.
