Sylvia Jeanette Bolton, age 88, of Pahrump, was taken into Gloryland on September 8, 2026. Originally from Alabama, she met her future husband when he was stationed at Turner AFB, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wayne, who had retired from the Air Force at Norton AFB. They enjoyed traveling in their RV and eventually settled in the Destin/Ft Walton Beach area. Upon his death in Florida, she returned to Highland to be with relatives and friends. Eventually relocating to Pahrump, NV to be close to her son Jeffrey, her grandson Anthony and their families. She was employed at the Ballistic Missile Office (Norton AFB), Marine Corps Supply Center (Albany, GA), and retired from the Jerry L. Pettis Veterans Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. She was an active member in the American Business Women’s Association (past president), member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), various committees at East Highland Ranch, bowling league, volunteer in the trip office at the Highland Senior Center, former member of the Emblem Club, Order of the Eastern Star, and Shriner’s Widows Org. She enjoyed singing with the Joyful singers at Immanuel Baptist Church, visiting the various assisted living homes with the Faithful singers; enjoyed playing Bingo every week and Wii Bowl.
Tending to her strawberry patch and lilies was one of her pleasures.
She was devoted to her five grandchildren, Jenna Harrell, Anthony Bolton, Jessica Bafaro, Nathan Willats and Sarah Willats, 7 great grandchildren, Wyatt, Blake, Delaney, Jayson, Emma, Waylon and Cadence.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Wayne and granddaughter Jenna Harrell.
She is survived by her daughter, Lesliee Willats, Beaver Creek, OH, and son, Jeffrey Bolton, Pahrump, NV,
Funeral services will be held at the Monticeto Memorial Mortuary on September 29, 2026
