Teresa Vera

Teresa Vera, 73, of Fontana died December 16 2016. She was born in Cuisillos Jalisco, Mexico, on November 3rd 1943. Her parents, Jesus Ramirez and Lucia Muños had 5 children. Teresa was the 3rd child.

In 1964 she married Uriel Vera. Together they had a total of 9 children. The first child, Martha Elena, was lost before age 2.

Teresa briefly worked in the mid 70’s packaging car parts. Later she would dedicate herself to her work in the church. She worshiped and worked for almost 10 years at Our Lady of Victory in Compton California, from 1980 to 1989. After moving to Fontana in 1989 she continued her work as a Minister of the Eucharist at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She leaves her beloved husband of 52 years, Uriel Vera; her daughters Maria, Soila, Teresa, Sandra and Ester; sons Jose, Uriel Jr., and Cesar; step son Mark; daughter in laws, Olivia and Francis; son in laws Victor, Steve and Marcus. She leaves behind 24 grand children and 6 great grand children. She is also survived by her sisters Aurora and Pachita; her brothers Isidro and Rosario.

Visitation will held on Monday, December 26, 2016, 5-8 pm at Montecito Valley View Chapel in Colton, California. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016, 10am at Montecito Valley View Chapel in Colton, California. Burial followed at Montecito Memorial Park.
