Vera J. Saenz

Vera Saenz died on July 31st in Redlands, California. She was born on February 4, 1922 in San Bernardino, California. Vera was the youngest daughter from a family of seven. She is survived by two sons, Edward and Michael, six grand children and three great-grand children.

Vera was employed part time by the Juarez Beauty Shop of San Bernardino and retired as a civilian secretary for the United States Air Force at Norton Air Base. After her retirement she worked as a language tutor at San Bernardino High School.

Vera was involved in the community as a PTA treasurer, President of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Lady Auxiliary and the Latino Peace Officers Association of San Bernardino.

Her Interest included: casino gambling, dinning out and reading, fashion and current events.
