Wendy A. Lavallee, beloved sister of Linda Lavallee, entered rest on February 15, 2025, at her home in Riverside, CA.

She was born in New York to Virginia Verrenti Lavallee and Robert John Lavallee. Wendy was educated at Bedford High School and Riverside Community College where she graduated with an Associate’s Degree. She was employed by the County of San Bernardino and worked in Child Support Services for 40 years.

After retirement, Wendy enjoyed spending time with her wonderful friends at concerts, plays and volunteering at the American Legion.

She is survived by her cousin, Brian Cosper and nephews, Cory Cosper, Colin Cosper and great niece, Rori Cosper.

The Funeral will be held Monday, March 10, 2025. The viewing will be from 11:00-12:30 and mass from 1:00-2:00 pm. at Montecito Mortuary at 3520 E. Washington St., Colton, CA in the Valley View Chapel, followed by the committal at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery at 3510 E. Washington St., Colton, CA.

God Saw You Getting Tired

God saw you getting tired,

And a cure was not to be;

So he put his arms around you,

And whispered, “Come to me”.

With tearful eyes we watched you,

And saw you pass away;

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Hard working hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes the best.
