Wil Maddox, 69, passed away on August 29, 2018 of a heart attack, entering into Heaven, to the warm embrace of our Heavenly father. He had been fighting health issues since 2011. After many tribulations with his health, he managed to maintain a positive outlook in life. He was born February 18, 1949 in Modesto, Ca. He graduated from San Gorgonio High School in 1967. He studied criminal justice at Valley College for a year and joined the Army for two years. After his discharge he met his wife, Judy Robershaw and married in 1973. He started his career and retired 31 years as a correctional Sergeant at the Chino Institute for men. He enjoyed fishing at Big Bear, making wooden clocks, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Maddox and his brother, Tim Maddox. He is survived by his mother, Wilma Maddox, two sisters, Trudy Amerson and Paula Buttle, wife, Judy Maddox, three children, Greg Maxwell, Debbie Gomez and Paul Maddox, four grandchildren, Selina Gomez, Johnny Gomez, Alicia Gomez, and Xavier Maddox.
Chapel service for Wil will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Cypress Chapel, 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, CA 92354, the small chapel by the Waterman entrance on your left.
