William Injo passed away on Monday, June 6, 2020, at the age of 94. After several months of declining health, William was called home to be with the Lord. Peacefully with his wife, Margaret and his daughter, Laureen by his side.
William was born in Muara Enim, Indonesia, on October 2, 1925 to father Ibrahim Kim Beng Injo and mother Ay Nio Tioa. He was the third of six children.
William was a diligent hard worker, he spent the majority of his lifetime in education and work. He graduated from Dutch School (HBS) and was sent by the Seventh-Day Adventist church to Singapore for further education in business. After finishing his education he came back to Indonesia and married the love of his life, Margaret, on October 27, 1952. He was blessed with two children, Roni and Laureen.
Before he moved to the Unites States to be with his children in 1980, he worked at the SDA hospital in Bandung as a bookkeeper and from 1958-1980, he was employed as an export import manager at several companies in Jakarta. He continued to work at the retirement home in Newbury Park, California until he retired in 1989.
William is known to his family as wise, intelligent, and God fearing. He had an impeccable memory. He remembered every little detail, and story of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret and two children, Roni and Laureen. Five grandchildren, Amy, Jonathan, Andrew, Pascal, Nithia and siblings, Daniel Injo and Melly Kwik.
He will be missed dearly, til' we meet again.
