William was born on October 31st, 1948 in Winder GA to Clarsy Trammell. He served 20 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Technical Sergeant, then served his country for 20 more years in the Department of Defense as a civilian (GS). On June 26th, 1970, he married Jessica Young and they went on to raise two daughters, Sonja and Kim. Bill had a love for God, love for his family, and love for his country. His favorite hobbies included bowling and spending time with his grandchildren, who loved their “Papa” fiercely.
Bill is preceded in death by his mother, Clarsy, and his sister, Jeannie. He is survived by his wife Jessica; his two children, Sonja Worley (Ben) and Kimberly Brown (Gabe); two sisters, Charlotte and Betty Jean, and two brothers, Curtis Lee and Frank Jr; six grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew, Gaby, Abbi, Danielle, and Lily; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bill’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s.
A visitation for William will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 3, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 3520 E Washington St, Colton, CA 92324. A committal service will occur Friday, March 3, 2023 from 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518.
