It was such a joy working with Willie at Target. She was like a Mother and friend to many of us there. I am blessed to have so many fond memories and pictures of our friendship together. Its sad to think as time went on we lost touch with one another but you were never forgotten and on our minds Allen and I both loved you. Rest now my dear friend and feel no pain...

Willie was by far one of the most amazing and strongest women we have ever met! She was welcomed into our family with open arms from the day we met her and it was very easy for every single family member to love her as she cared so much for all of us! We spent many times with Willie as well as her last days and she still never complained of her pain. I will always remember how thankful and grateful she was to my brother in-law Brian for giving her the best care anyone could ever ask for. She always spoke of their special bond and I truly believe because of their friendship she would of cared for him the same way if the roles were reversed. We will truly will miss Willie's wonderful laugh and beautiful smile but I know it will forever stay in our memories of her and when I think about her it brings a big smile to my face!! I can say I am a better person because of meeting and getting to know Willie she was and will continue to be an angel from God to our Family!!! We forever love you Willie and we thank you for the blessings you brought to our family! Until we meet again HONEY!!!!

July 23, 2018 randomly (and amazingly) came into our lives and provided inspiration to always keep smiling and have a sense of humor. We continuously loved watching/listening to you speak and interact with my Nino and your happy and funny stories. You truly became a part of the family! God added a wonderful angel to watch over us everyday. As much as it hurts to know you are gone, you’re no longer suffering. And even though you’re gone, you’ll never be forgotten. We will see you again one day. Until then...thank you for smiling down at us and remaining in our hearts and memories.

Family is a beautiful thing, because it’s foundations aren’t just built based on who your blood relatives are. Rather, to me, it’s based on the people that you love. In the time that I was blessed with knowing her, I can definitively say that Willie was a part of the family. She had a certain effect on people, where you could talk to her, for even a little bit, and you would feel more positive after it. I think this is because she was a very happy go lucky person who always greeted you with a “HI HONEY” and was always super outgoing with others. My favorite memory is when she danced at my sister’s wedding and she got to dance to her favorite song. You could tell it was a special moment for her and that made it even better for us. I aspire to have the same outlook on life as she did, because everything in life is fantastic when you’re surrounded by the people who love you. Love you Willie and you’ll always be living through all of us.

What an honor it was to meet and get to know Willie. She was a person full of life and love. Whenever she walked in to a room you instantly felt a sense of joy and warmth. We will certainly miss Willie but so happy that she is no longer in pain. We love you so much!

What an honor to be her best friend for the last 20 years, she fought an ongoing battle with many health problems, but not once did Willie ever complain, I will miss her outgoing personality, her laugh, but most of all her ability to keep living life the best that she could. As I sat next to her empty bed 1 week after her death to the minutes, listening to her favorite radio station I ask her to give me a sign that she was no longer in any pain, able to walk, see, and with love ones, at 2.05pm (the time of her death 1 week earlier, the song " At Last' by Eda James played,( one of her favorites) that was my sign she is in peace. Thank you Willie for being you.
