It is with broken hearts and endless love that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and light of our lives, Yesenia Lily Valencia , who left us far too soon on February 27, 2026, at the age of 36, after a courageous and graceful battle with breast cancer.
Born on June 16, 1989, in Panorama City, California, she grew up with a bright spirit and a heart full of kindness that touched everyone she met. From her earliest days, she carried a quiet strength and a warmth that drew people close, a warmth that only grew deeper when she met the love of her life.
Together, they built a beautiful family and a home filled with laughter, love, and unwavering devotion. Yesenia was the heartbeat of their family—the gentle, fierce, nurturing mother to their three precious sons. She poured her soul into raising them, celebrating every small milestone, wiping away tears and holding them through every moment of joy and challenge. To her boys, she was safety, wisdom, unconditional love, and their very first hero.
To Jose, she was his partner, his confidante, his greatest adventure, and the love he will carry in his heart forever. Their relationship was a testament to deep commitment, tender moments, shared dreams, and a bond that cancer could never break. Even in her hardest days, she found ways to comfort those around her, always putting her family first with a smile that could still light up the room.
She faced her illness with remarkable bravery—not for show, but because she wanted to stay as long as she could for the ones she loved most. Her grace in the face of pain, her quiet faith, and her endless capacity for love will remain an inspiration to all who knew her.
Yesenia is survived by her devoted partner , their three cherished sons Elijah, Alexander and Jonathon ; her parents; siblings; extended family; and countless friends whose lives she brightened simply by being in them.
Though our hearts ache with her absence, we take comfort knowing that her love surrounds us still—in every hug from her boys, in every memory they hold close, in the kindness she taught us all to share.
Rest now, our beautiful Yesenia. You fought so hard, loved so deeply, and left a legacy of love that will live on in us forever. We will carry you with us always, until we meet again.
