Zacarias is survived by his daughter Estela Lira; his son Armando Lira; his son Luciano Lira; and his daughter Sandra Velasquez; his grandchildren 13 and his great grandchildren 10.
Viewing for Zacarias will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 with a Chapel Service at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 both at Montecito Cypress Chapel, 24145 Barton Road, Loma Linda, CA 92354. Zacarias will be laid to rest after services at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington Street, Colton, CA 92324.
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each, I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints; other times there was only one. During the low periods of my life I could see only one set of footprints, so I said, "You promised me, Lord, that you would walk with me always. Why, when I have needed you most, have you not been there for me? "The Lord replied, "The times when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you."
