Sincere sympathy to the family on the loss of Brad - a good friend of ours for over 40 years. Brad put his heart and soul into everything he did - community organizer, high school teacher, athlete, but most of all, a dear friend.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Brad's family and friends.  
I have known Brad since he was a challenging CO student of mine in 1974.  We shared our views on authority and power and became friends in those years. Brad was a committed community organizer over a long period of time, and a courageous one too, especially for his work with Lillian in El Salvador during the 1980's civil war there.  Brad had a wonderful sense of humor, patience, political astuteness, and a strong drive to bring about economic and social justice.  He was a stalwart friend and loving father, husband, grandfather, son and brother,  I will miss him badly.  I hold him in my heart. The world was a much better place with Brad in it.

Brad's passing this past Friday was a shock to all of us who knew him not only on the tennis court, but also as a wonderful human being with a heart of gold.  He spoke often about Lillian, his two daughters, and all of his grandchildren, and it was clear that he was very proud of his entire family.  His low key, humble style on and off the court will be greatly missed by all of us.  Jeff DeCaro

I taught with Brad at Banks in Baltimore. He was a wonderful man who devoted so much to that school. He will be truly missed!

My deepest sympathies and condolences to Brad's family. We were colleagues at Sam Banks HS and shared lots of laughs and stories each morning over Mc'ds Coffee, a few minutes before each day began!


My heartfelt sympathy for the family and friends. I had the opportunity of playing Tennis with him a few times; and was positively influenced by his personality. May God give him eternal peace !
