

Brett Eugene Johnson was a man of selfless love and unwavering commitment. He devoted his life to providing a comfortable and secure life for his wife and daughter. His family was his greatest source of pride and joy.
Brett was an intelligent man with a wealth of knowledge about countless topics. He enjoyed listening to jazz music, engaging in political discussions and debates, and expanding his understanding of the world around him. He also enjoyed reading a wide variety of genres, from historical fiction and memoirs to autobiographies and Greek mythology.
He will be most remembered for his ability to make others laugh and put them at ease. His warm and inviting personality allowed him to form meaningful, lifelong connections with family, friends, and exchange students. Brett had a gift for making people feel welcomed, valued, and comfortable in his presence.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brett Eugene Johnson, who peacefully entered eternal rest on July 28, 2026. Brett was 73 years old when he was called home.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Johnson; his daughter, Jillian Johnson; his mother, Juanita Johnson; his brother, Jeffrey Johnson; a beloved member of the family, Monica Milner; his nephews, Justin Johnson and Ryan Johnson; and his great-nephew, Tavon Johnson.
Brett was preceded in death by his father, Earl Eugene Johnson.
His memory will forever remain a blessing to those who knew and loved him.
