On August 19, 2016, Brian Patrick Coghlan of Columbia passed away; Beloved husband of Susan Coghlan; Loving father of Aislinn and Braedan Coghlan; Devoted son of Laurence Coghlan and his wife Valerie. Dear brother of Rachel Coghlan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Coghlan.
He found peace and comfort through sailing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his children and close friends. He expressed his love by helping others, whether it was shoveling their snow or making them laugh when they needed it most.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering at the Witzke Funeral Homes, Inc., 5555 Twin Knolls Rd., Columbia, MD 21045 on Friday, September 2, from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, September 24, 4:00pm, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 6800 Oakland Mills Rd, Columbia, MD 21045.
