My name is Bob McCandlish and I was a PG at Kent in 1980. I remember Camille's huge hair bounncing and flowing down her shoulders walking across the then Boys campus. Her energy was large, fun and distinctive. Her love of horses was so clear too. Her smile came easily. She no doubt, made enormous impressions all her life. Those life touches spread through people like me and in a way, were passed forward to countless others. Loving people like Camille have that impact. Even on a guy like me who knew her from a distance one magical year at Kent in 1980. Lasting peace, love and smiles to you all.

Brian, Catherine, and Cameron, I was shocked and saddened to hear about Camille's passing. I attended Kent School with Camille. We were close friends. I have fond memories of our time together, including a fun ski vacation in Vermont. Hugs to you all, Ann Munigle (1980)

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I do remember Camille as a classmate - She was personable as well as intelligent - unfortunately, she left this earth too soon. I will pray for strength for the family at this time.

My thoughts are with the girls... I never saw them without Camille and I never saw Camille without a smile. She was a WONDERFUL volunteer, always ready to pitch in and with enthusiasm. I can't imagine your pain. Please know that your Mom loved you two more than anything. I loved how she supported you both with your riding and you supported her. My hugs to you both. And always remember, your Mom is watching over you.

Camille was my cousin and was loved very much by everyone in our family. It was always a treat when they returned home to visit, and everyone looked forward to seeing her; always enjoying her kind, spirited, great personality. She will be truly missed.

I was shocked to hear of Camille's passing! I remember first meeting Camille at the Hobby farm in Arabia so many years ago. She was a vibrant, energetic person, and had the same love and passion for horses as I did. One of her first horses was a gentle mare named Gypsy and the two of them were as wild as the wind! We enjoyed friendly competition, rides and Pony Club! She was always kind and approachable and there was no mistaking her Hair! (full and beautiful) I can still picture her racing across the Gymkhana field on her Bay stallion, Nabeel - their two manes like fire in the desert wind!
My sincerest of condolences to her family and children, certainly she will be missed, but not forgotten.
