Dearest Aunt Catherine,
Mom and I have been trying to reach you over the past year.  We are so sad to learn that you passed away. We will forward cherish your laughter, memories of our many family cookouts in Catonsville and your sheer love of family. May God keep you in continual peace until we meet again.

I love you and miss you, Aunt Catherine. Your laughter and your voice still fill my ears. Today, I sit in the house where I grew up, and it does not feel the same in your absence. But you will always be here, in each of our memories, in each of our hearts.

I recall the good old days in my youth when the family visited Lauretta Ave. My Aunt, Big Catherine was such a joy and full of life. I still remember all the funny and down to earth comments she made, always keeping us laughing. I will never forget on one particular visit she made a big pot of cabbage. She was eating the cabbage in such a manner that made it look so scrumptious. Now, I am not a fan of cabbage, in fact can't stand it; however, I asked for some anyway. Guess what! It tasted just like cabbage :).  Those were fun times and are the days I have never forgotten. I will cherish them forever. Rest in peace my dear Aunt.

We will all miss her and I borrow these words "Never do we know enough to say that a death was the will of God... take consolation in knowing... God's heart was the first of all our hearts to break"

My sister, my best friend.  I will miss talking to you and all the fun we shared.  We had our own special bond and I have wonderful memories of our times together.  Keep on dancing in Heaven. Love you so much.

I know you are in Heaven keeping everyone laughing.  Thank you for giving me so many life lessons and so much joy.   I love you Big Kathryn and I cherish the rich memories of you and our fun times and chats.
