Dave was my god father, he wasn't my Uncle, bit he was Uncle Dave. He tought me a lot about construction, railroad, cooking, and finance. Alot of lessons learned through his errors or someone he knew. He was a great man and an awesome guy to have had the pleasure of being around!

David will be deeply missed by many. I was very proud to have him as a brother.. He is safe in the arms of the angels. He is not alone.

While I didn't know you well in school, I knew who you were immediately and you will be forever missed.

David was a wonderful son and he made me proud.  He very seldom criticized and was a warm loving father to his children.  He had a sense of humor, was capable of fixing anything, and a master cook with a zest for living.  
He would make the Irish proud.

Looking back he reminds me of my father's warm disposition and love for people.
  
David made peace with his God the Sunday before he passed.  I feel so blessed to have him as my son.

Dave worked hard, loved his family, was a great cook, and an awesome mentor in my life.

Oh David you are forever that beautiful blonde haired boy in my mind.  I could always count on you as a dance partner at the Middle School dances and you were always game for a good prank.  I hope you are in a place of peace.

I will never forget the time he let me up front of the train and he tried to get me to drive but I chickened out. Also enjoying some chicken Parmesan dinners which were amazing. So sorry to hear of his loss I am sending love to everyone.

Melissa, I did not know your dad really well, but having met him only briefly, I really liked him a lot.  I could tell that he was a fun person and loved life.  I am so sorry that he has left this earth, but I hope you now know that you have your own personal angel in heaven looking after you. Dave was a very good engineer and professional colleague. He was always pleasant and did not let on the road events affect his demeanor. Just before morning crew briefings there was always pleasnt talk about Corvettes and other cars of interest. Dave has been taken from his family too soon.
