To Kathy and the Doherty Family,

We are so very sorry for your family's loss. Please know that we are keeping you close in our thoughts and prayers. In the meantime, I will leave you with this truth, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted". (Matthew 5:4)

While I didn’t know your husband, I did get to work with you during the five years you were employed as the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at Notre Dame of Maryland University and continued to work with you on at least three Notre Dame dissertations when you were employed as the Associate Provost/Executive Director for graduate, professional, and continuing education at Goucher College.

Dissertators noted your extremely effective use of technology, during and outside class, especially the use of Zoom for video conferencing for facilitating discussions at a geographic distance.

Best wishes and good luck using your technology skills to provide exceptional keepsake memories of Dennis’ marriage to you, as well as Dennis’ relationship with your children, your family and your extended family.

Remember the love and not the loss!
