Born in Pottsville, PA, May 17, 1945. He was the son of the late Mary and William Everly. His career spanned employment at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics lab, U.S. patent Office, and retired from Northrop Grumman.
He was preceded in death by his only son, David Everly on March 27, 2026.
Surviving are a wife, Jane Everly his wife of 58 years, a daughter, Tara Everly, and his brother Tom Everly and sister Mary Ann Detwiler and four grandchildren; Katie, Jonathan, Tristan and Ryan.
The family will be receiving friends at Witzke Funeral Homes, Inc, 5555 Twin Knolls Rd, Columbia, MD 21045 on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 12:30-1:30 pm, where a prayer service will begin at 1:30 pm.
